With a squarer profile compared to the H and M models, it maximises rolling speed on the straights while guaranteeing strong grip in curves, ideal for a more aggressive riding style. The “R” (Racing) models are designed for riders seeking precision handling and maximum performance, mainly in competitive conditions, with solutions derived from Pirelli’s MTB XC expertise.

SPEEDGRIP COMPOUND

The SpeedGRIP Compound is a gravel-specific rubber formulation born from the Pirelli experience in the World Rally Championship, where speed and grip on and off-road are crucial. It relies on the polymer matrix of the MTB-specific SmartGRIP Compound while lowering its rolling resistance. Our engineers tuned it towards better energy efficiency with a small compromise on grip: the result is a predictable compound with solid performance on and off road, in both dry and wet conditions.

SMARTEVO GR COMPOUND

Developed for modern off-road riding and made in Italy, the SmartEVO GR compound delivers low rolling resistance and high chemical grip on both dry and wet surfaces. Tuned for compact terrain, gravel tracks and asphalt, it gives maximum efficiency and control across the whole ride. SmartEVO GR is exclusive to the High Performance Line (HP-Line).

TECHWALL GRAVEL CASING

The TechWALL Gravel casing is built around a robust multi-layer overlapping fabric, reinforced with bead-to-bead protection. On the road most punctures come from sharp objects penetrating the tread, while off-road they come from sidewall cuts, so the casing protects the whole perimeter of the tyre while keeping a supple riding feel. It delivers an ideal balance of puncture resistance, durability and comfort for a wide range of gravel conditions.

PROWALL GRAVEL CASING

The ProWALL Gravel casing adopts technology taken directly from the carcasses of Pirelli’s highest-performing Made in Italy MTB tyres. Built on a 120 TPI fabric with reinforced sidewalls, it supports low-pressure riding for extra comfort and traction, resists sidewall cuts on rough ground and is fully tubeless-ready. ProWALL Gravel is the casing of the High Performance Line (HP-Line).

HP-LINE AND P-LINE

The Cinturato™ Gravel range comes in two lines. The Italian-made High Performance Line (HP-Line) pairs the SmartEVO GR compound with the 120 TPI ProWALL Gravel casing for maximum speed, control and reliability. The Performance Line (P-Line) pairs the proven SpeedGRIP compound with the 60 TPI TechWALL Gravel casing, focused on durability and balanced characteristics.
